I’ll be scoring Namor’s costumes over the years and will try to do as many as I can because he has had quite a few. Just going to focus on the costumes and not the art since some of them… yeah not good. This is my opinion and if I missed any outfits then it’s fine. Anyways enjoy!
#1 Namor in Marvels
Score: +100,000,000/10 Poseidon wept and Sirens sang praises causing all who heard to go mad & plunge their ships into the rocks. Aphrodite was jealous.
Thoughts: Naked Namor. Absolute perfection. No improvement needed. Just let this fish man run around naked. Let him fight naked. Let him just be as he is.
#2 Classic Namor
Score: 11/10 *wolf whistle* Yes please!
Thoughts: The best and most iconic costume Namor has. A classic that withstood nearly 80 years of comic history. Coming in different colors such as red/black/blue and green. It is something that is well associated with Namor’s character. It perfectly for his enviroment & frankly the best choice for Namor.
#3 Phoenix Namor
Score: 10/10 One of the best costumes to ever grace the pages of comics.
Thoughts: The Slut-Mariner lives up to the nickname in his phoenix pants and is quite frankly the only time I want him in pants.
#4 Diving Suit Namor
Score: 8/10 Love that they gave him his arm bracers back for this.
Thoughts: This outfit comes in either green or blue. It desgined to be like an underwater wetsuit and if we are going to put Namor in full dress at least giving him a plunging neckline kinda makes up for it. However boots and collar are unneeded and should go.Ranked higher than the black one cause of the colors.
#5 Namor in a Robe
Score: 9.5/10 Need to show a mood? Wear a robe it shows you don’t care about others judging you still being in it at 3 in the afternoon.
Thoughts: Good for looking moody and can it be called an outfit when he’s just walking around in his robe? Ah well he looks sexy.
#6 Diving Suit Namor (Black)
Score: 7/10 Plunging neck lines are always good.
Thoughts: As stated before with a simliar design however less colorful with just the black and gold as color scheme.
#7 Namor in a suit
Score: 8.5/10 Even Aunt May wants the fish booty.
Thoughts: If Namor has to be in clothes then a suit is the only way to fully appreciate him. Looking good Namor.
#8 New Namor Designs
Score: I don’t want to score each one so let’s just go to the thoughts.
Thoughts: In order from left to right: Nope. YES! Boob Window Good. No. NO.
#9 Armpit Wings Namor
Score: -3/10 Thanks I hate it.
Thoughts: I hate it. I will always hate it. Armpit wings are stupid.
#10 The Savage Sub-Mariner
Score: -254/10 Why? Why did you do this Marvel?
Thoughts: Burn it. Burn it with fire. Burn it then burn the ashes. No to his hair. No to his arm bracers. No to his tiny weird codpiece. One of the worse designs for him and frankly I hate it. Not even the armour can save this style.
#11 Sea Shell Namor
Score: 1/10
Thoughts: SEA SHELL IS NOT LARGE ENOUGH FOR ACCURATE SIZE REPRESENTATION OF NAMOR’S ROYAL JEWELS.
